Respected amongst her peers and admired by her loyal fans, multi-awarded Singer/Songwriter Amber Davis shines with originality. Amber continues to make her mark in the local OPM scene as an advocate for original music. "I believe that as a recording artist we have a responsibility to keep music alive by continuing to create new music," says the songstress. Amber has written songs for different artists and projects, and is one of the few artists that use only original compositions in her albums. With her passion for her craft, impressive vocal range, stunning stage persona, and breathtaking beauty, Filipino-American artist Amber Davis has been billed as an "Ambassador for High Quality Music," by Philippines Corporate Giant PLDT.
Amber wins over music lovers with her Feel Good Music. Her debut hit “Manila,” brought her recognition at the 2007 Awit Awards for “Best Performance by a New Female Recording Artist.” Her next hit "Back Into You" was named "OPM Song Of The Year" in 2007 while she was also named RX 93.1's "Artist of the Year." Most recently, her song "Taas Noo" feat. Gloc9 was named "Best Original Song" at the 2010 Urban Music Awards, where she was also given an award for the duet "Spend My Life with You" with Thor, and named "Best Female R&B Artist.".
A certified hit maker, Amber has put her skills to the test by taking on different projects. She wrote and was the voice behind the Platinum selling dance craze "Kembot" for Star Records, the 2008 ABS-CBN "One Team, One Summer" Summer Staiton ID, and the memorable and heartwarming 2009 ABS-CBN "Star Ng Pasko" Christmas Station ID.
Amber has written the carrier singles for new artists under P-Pop, a hip new record label headed by Boss Vic Del Rosario, Vincent Del Rosario, and Amber's long time music producer Marcus Davis Jr. She has also joined P-Pop's roster of talented artists and is excited to be part of something fresh and innovative. Amber is looking forward to releasing her new album titled "FILAM" under the P-Pop label. "FILAM" consists of 12 catchy original songs inspired by both her Filipino and American musical influences.
While her eyes are firmly set on crossing over internationally, she still has her roots firmly planted in the Philippines, which she calls home. Amber stays busy performing both locally and internationally, being a VJ for Myx Global (an international music channel), and collaborating and writing for other artists.
