                     Early in the year 2007, philosopher-hustler & a teen-parent from Ermita, Manila, named Jet "Classiclove" Magnaye created ONEGRAND with the help of his childhood friend, Charlon "Onlychild" Cortez.

It was also the time that the "Hardcore Gangsta Rap Era" rose again. Internet HIPHOP ERA ruled. So it wasnt difficult to be noticed.

Classiclove said "in the year 2005-2008 All you need to do is make good MUSIC, and attract Listeners, for me? IMEEM did all the EXPOSURES and [FRIENDSTER's "About Me"] did all the talking"

                     Equipped with one generic computer microphone, a flashlight (as micstand), personal desktop, and a 30 day trial Recording Software. He made his first song entitled "Kaibigan"

"it was kinda weird hearing.. "tol ang ganda ng kanta mo ah gawa ka pa!) when you know you just had fun doing it! at pansarili sana! at nagkwento ka lang sa buhay mo at nilagay sa verse and beat. then that's it dumame samen humingi ng kopya ng song tas inaabangan ang susunod hehe, i love hiphop, HIPHOP nako eversince i remember pero mas mahal ko ang MUSIC at POETRY... d ko akalain na ok din pala ko dito.. ACCIDENTAL GHETTO SUPERSTAR na bigla haha"

so he decided to write another, then "Aking Istorya" followed. it clicked as well as the first one...

Later that year, a chance encounter with an old friend, Charlon "Onlychild" Cortez, a Graffiti Artist who has always wanted to make it in the music business,  decided to have their first collaboration as his first gangster rap. "Aming Dalaw" was made and so as ONE GRAND CREW was born.
