Road To Araneta is a well documented tour set up to showcase the progress towards reaching the dream of filling up Araneta Coliseum for the 1st time on April 9th,2013 (Day of Valor). Follow the calendar!

For The first time in Pinoy HipHop History we will execute a day of Rap battles/performances/award ceremonies in this form of Indie Film where we document the ups and downs of targeting to sell out the coliseum's tickets in one day. The Road To Araneta Calender will serve as our map to allow our supporters to easily follow and participate in order to claim this history for this generation. This journey will include many worlds of dance, song, graphics, skate, basketball, bottled in many forms of entertainment.

Biography

Q-York stands for “Quality – Yields Our Richest Key” and also Queens, New York where the group was founded in 2001. The super duo music group consists of KNOWA LAZARUS (MC / Songwriter) and FLAVA MATIKZ (Producer / DJ). Both born and raised in Queens, New York, they are brothers from different mothers whose bond was forged through the music in their souls. They visited the Philippines in 2007, and fell in love instantly. By discovering their roots they also found the purpose and inspiration they were subconsciously seeking their whole lives. They exploded on the Philippine Music Scene in 2009 with their hit single “Mainit” which became a summer anthem for Pilipino’s worldwide.

Q-York’s relentless drive, versatility and god-given talents have allowed them to travel the world and collaborate and produce for with international and local celebrities such as: Ron Artest, Philippine Allstars, Far East Movement, Canibus, Camile Velasco, Nature (Formerly of the FIRM), Quest, Gloc-9, JayR, Young JV, Paloma Esmeria, Krista Kleiner & Joan Almedilla (US Broadway Star) just to name a few. Q-York’s music is an all-you-can-eat buffet of style and sound that entertains and educates, which is why they call it “Edutainment”.

Besides making great music, Q-York uplifts, inspires and entertains with dynamic and energetic performances. They have rocked stages with the best of them including: front act for the PussyCat Dolls Live in Manila Concert in 2009, APEC after party in Singapore November 2009, front act for Shock Value Tour in Manila with Timbaland, Justin Timberlake and JoJo, Top selected performers of the 7101Music Nation Camp November 2010 with Gary V., Rico Blanco, Jim Paredes, Jay Durias, Jungee Marcelo, Gary Grenada. Front Act for “Truwarier Records Tour” feat. Mobb Deep, Ron Artest, Crud Luv 2003 (US Tour). Front Act for Fillmore Coleman “Horns & Halos” Tour feat.
