Growing up in the city of angels Los Angeles,California. In the mid 90's she was receptive of the whole party scene and distinguish different crews wich portray unconventional attire,influenced by the entire westcoast gangsta rap music she fell in love with Hip Hop.

Mizz Snapper indeed have a bright future in local hiphop

way back when she was active, she's beautiful, have the needed talent,

and a total package but all of a sudden she's nowhere to be found.

so what happen to her? what is she up to lately?

luckily were able to get some answers from mizz Snapper herself.

PHS: Can you give us a little preview of your career? and the things you currently up to?

Snapper: As of now I'm currently busy with family business and very hands on with my 1 yr old babyboy .. Little preview of the said career (in the music industry?) I never really released an album although I was getting deals and a lot of offer from label exec. But I was told to wait.. For the perfect time..  I was active for 4yrs in the local scene pushing a movement that I believed in before.. Trynna help people who believe in their talent and skills..

PHS: Your best contribution to the hiphop community?

Snapper: I'm not going to be a hypocrite and claim I did so much for the scene when there's so many heads out there who struggles everyday to put the local scene in a prominent spot in the music industry .. Seriously, hands down to everyone who is consistent day in and day out ..

PHS: Any plans of coming back? or other future hiphop related project?

Snapper:  I always get messages from rappers/producers to do a collabo or produce a collabo album.. Hey you never know right.. I might get my fire back ..

PHS: Opinion on the current state of local hiphop?

Snapper: All I can say is that having the opportunity now to be outside the circle  to actually hear other peoples opinion about certain things made me realize a lot.. The problem with local scene before if your stuck in a camp you only hear the opinion of that camp you know what I'm sayin.. Although now I've seen a lot of changes .. The Local Scene can make it if the "hate" is less.. They should empower one another .. The local scene is like a sleepin dragon it's just a matter of time ..

i know mizz Snapper personally  as i met her before and share some words with her

and she is indeed beautiful, talented and very and i mean VERY

down to earth lady, no matter what road she takes

i know things will be successful to everything
(being femcee, modeling, or having her own business name it)

who would have thought that this Gorgeous and Sexy Young Lad 

is also the female emcee formerly known as 

Cypha-Sis who is a member of the all female rap group named Heaven Sent. 

It was year 1999 when Cypha-sis appeared on the independently 

produced compilation of Bomb Ass Productions entitled

Fo the Luv of It featuring fellow independent rap artist like Rapskallion, Flipjoint, Holla Fame to name a few 

and if I’m not mistaken she is the only female emcee that has a solo track on that album and the title is 

“Funk Shop”.She together with Heaven Sent was also included on the Classic Dj Arbie produced United Freestyles 

vol. I Mixtape, Then was featured on El Latino's- Young & Dangerous 

album and that is the last time we heard of Cypha-Sis and Heaven Sent. 

According on her interview aside from modeling she is currently working on an 

album but it is not clear if it’s gonna be a hip-hop/rap album. 

So lets just watch out for that album not just on Maria’s Body. -EB

before she released her self titled album in 1998 which received commercial success.. Aside from collaborating with other rappers.. Chill even did tracks with rock bands on compilations, bands album and on her second release entitled "Egomaniacal" which also featured a female rap duo namely "Misteazas" that is composed of 

"Dizzy" & "2tay" who is now a solo artist..

The Black Katipunero album REVIEW

this is the scanned album i have (hangang ngayon di ko pa napapapirmahan palpak!)

It was known that this album 4 is years in the making

the wait is all worth it though.

kung fan kayo ni sir D-coy, mahilig makinig sa mga kanta nya

from youtube and imeem(dati) and any other site

some of the tracks in this album might be familiar but with a different twist. 

tracks like WIKA, TADHANA, WALANG KATULAD, PAMBANSANG KAMAO, 

SANA are some tracks that i heard before bago pa tong album nato

but the songs are remastered and given a new life.

1. D-Mutha 

- it's me W-A-K-I-N para to sa mga naniniwala sakin

  it's D MOTHA F*CKIN COY!

  wala na atang ibang track na pinakabagay for the first 

  track than this one! It's D MOTHA F*CKIN COY!!! :-)

2. USOK

- this track is an instant fave for me, i love how they

use that old track "tinangay na nga hangin, ang masamang panaginip..."

ito ung mga tipo ng pinoy rap songs na pag pinarinig mo kahit

sa hindi hiphop fan ay mapapa kinig at posibleng magustohan nila

it's cathy, the verse are good hindi pang masa, hindi baduy

quality music indeed.

3. WIKA

- it's a different version than the first WIKA song i've heard

sadly mas nagustohan ko ung orinigal version na narinig ko

but this one have this reggae flavor in it, it's smooth,

it's different,reggae and hiphop have something that blends.

4. BAYANI

- lalim nito, gusto mo ng isang track about our heroes ito na un

it's a tribute song to our heroes pero wala namang binangit na specific.

tungkol ito sa kalayaan, kapayapan, at sa mga katapangan ng ating mga

pambasang bayani.

5. TADHANA feat. Ira Marasigan

- another easy fave, ito ung mga tipo ng track na masarap pabayuhin sa

bahay, sino ba aayaw sa track na ganito astig!!! ayoko na ikwento pakingan nyo nalang 

visit BLUED store and grab a copy :-) (PROMOTE) ETONG AKING BUHAY!!!... sh*T LSS!!!

6. INUKIT

- Fresh sh*T ganda nito, smooth na smooth ang style of rappin ni sir D-coy

again referring to his tatoo and how some sort of energy flowing to him from those 

tattoo. "lulupigin ang kasamaan sa sanlibutan, at dudurugin ang sino mang magtangka 

sa aking mahal" kaya wag kayong aali-aligin kay boss Snap ayt LOL.

7. WALANG KATULAD REMIX

- again it's was given a new life, and again i love the original version

but this track is also good, perfect ang sounds nito masarap sa tenga ibang klase 

WALANG KATULAD. basta! 

8. L.O.A. (LAW OF ATTRACTION) feat. Blain, Ronthug & Snapper

- ito ang the best! ganda ng message, lupit ng chorus and beats iba 

at syempre mga verse from WIKA roster D-Coy, Snapper, Ron Thug, Blain

positive vibes astig! WALANG IMPOSSIBLE

9. SASABOG NA ULIT 

- it's a claim to lit the fire again to local hiphop, sasabog na ulit ang hiphop sa 

pinas, this track is more a tribute to Pinoy Hiphop and how sir D-coy started, it's 

true we need quality Mc's like sir D-coy sa ayaw at sa gusto nyo sasagot na ulit ang 

hiphop sa PINAS AT WALA KAYONG MAGAGAWA.

10. I LOVE HATERS feat. Lowkey DaBoy Wonder

- "anong nagawa ko? gusto mo ba ng Catalog?" ito ang sapal sa mga haters ni sir D-coy 

at sa mga nakaaway nya. diss tracK? pakingan mo nalng.

11. SINO KA???

- i love this track, ganda, maagas, catchy, kilala mo bang kalaban mo???

12. BAKBAKAN NA feat. MC Dash & Pikaso

- D-Coy, MC Dash & Pikaso!!???!! Enough said :-)

- im really not on to remakes, but this remake have it's on dope flavour on it, ito

sir D-coy have from that SANA track way back pero ung pagkakagawa nila nitong Isla 

Remix iba!!! reggae style again by the genius sir Artstrong! gustong gusto ko ung 

"SANA... SANA... SANA..."" iba BASTA IBA!!!

15. HANGANG SA HULI feat. REY VALERA

- although this track is a tribute track, ito ang PINAKA MALUPIT na track! PERIOD!!!

pag pasok palang ng beat alam mo na agad na iba to! and the words are heartfelt iba!

16. TAGAY MO TO!

- mahilig kaba sa inuman? ito ang pabayuhin nyo pag nag iinuman kayo! 

17. W'S UP feat. Blain, Ronthug, Mizz Snapper, And Roscoe Umali

- the WIKA's Theme song!!! throw your W up in the mothafuckin AIR!!!
