"It was all a dream! and still is! but im livin' half of it!" -Classiclove

Early in the year 2007, philosopher-hustler & a teen-parent from Ermita, Manila, named Jet "Classiclove" Magnaye created ONEGRAND with the help of his childhood friend, Charlon "Onlychild" Cortez.

"Money aint a barrier for Anything, Do what you gotta do/ or what your supposed to do keep that in mind!" -Classiclove

It was also the time that the "Hardcore Gangsta Rap Era" rose again. Internet HIPHOP ERA ruled. So it wasnt difficult to be noticed.

Classiclove said "in the year 2005-2008 All you need to do is make good MUSIC, and attract Listeners, for me? IMEEM did all the EXPOSURES and [FRIENDSTER's "About Me"] did all the talking"

Equipped with one generic computer microphone, a flashlight (as micstand), personal desktop, and a 30 day trial Recording Software. He made his first song entitled "Kaibigan"

"it was kinda weird hearing.. "tol ang ganda ng kanta mo ah gawa ka pa!) when you know you just had fun doing it! at pansarili sana! at nagkwento ka lang sa buhay mo at nilagay sa verse and beat. then that's it dumame samen humingi ng kopya ng song tas inaabangan ang susunod hehe, i love hiphop, HIPHOP nako eversince i remember pero mas mahal ko ang MUSIC at POETRY... d ko akalain na ok din pala ko dito.. ACCIDENTAL GHETTO SUPERSTAR na bigla haha"

so he decided to write another, then "Aking Istorya" followed. it clicked as well as the first one...

Later that year, a chance encounter with an old friend, Charlon "Onlychild" Cortez, a Graffiti Artist who has always wanted to make it in the music business,  decided to have their first collaboration as his first gangster rap. "Aming Dalaw" was made and so as ONE GRAND CREW was born.

"5 STAR BITCH" - Impaktita Ft. Greenfeen (On Hook)

"you be washing dirty dishes while I'm out there Hustlin" ~ Impaks

OneGrand Hong Kong Represent
Ghetto Fabulous Musick (Gfab Records)

Impaktita

Magdalaine Oponda a.k.a "Impaktita"

Call her: Laine
Birthdate: Feb 8th, 1987
Birthplace: Hong Kong S.A.R
genre: Indie, Love, R&B, Hardcore
age: 24

How it Began:

In 2001, her childhood friend Lucky Lyn a.k.a GAYUMA decided to form her own all girl internet rap group and named it Extinto Femcees. It was Gayuma who gave her the name “IMPAKTITA” and taught her how to rap. Her mentor always said “Listen to the beat, feel the beat, then start writing your lyrics”.

It wasn’t till 2002 when she officially began uploading and sharing her songs on her soundclick acount. She became good friends with other underground artists. Especially Tarantada (Bling Flava). Her very first released song was titled “Ikaw Parin” where she featured with FlipNetwork.

Impaktita was an Extinto Femcee for 6 years straight. When the group disbanded in 2008, she started going Solo. She had been a part of several independent labels on Soundclick but she never did join any other Rap Group. It was Extinto or Nothing.

FORMER LABELS:
- Bahay Rekordz
- Sandamukal Records
- First Ladies Records
- 615 Produkshunz
- Kalibre Wreckordz
- 5 SHOTZ Productionz

YOUR INFLUENCES?
Chill, Gayuma,

SO YOU WERE AN INTERNET RAPPER?
- yes and I'm not the least bit ashamed to say that I was and actually I still am in a way because I still accept "collaborations" through vocal/beat transfers by email/yahoo msgr. everything I learned started from being an internet rapper so why deny it ..

WHEN DID SHE ENTER THE UNDERGROUND?
It wasn’t till mid 2010 when Impaktita Finally exposed herself in the Philippines, guided by Mark Anthony “Cinco” Garcia of 5 shotz productionz, her first live performance was in Ermita (10.10.10) – An Event organized by OneGrand Crew (Ermita).

I CURRENTLY REPRESENT ..
OneGrand Crew Hong Kong and Ermita (Main)
Gfab Musick (Ghetto Fabulous' one & only female artist)

“Rap will always be there .. I’m just doing what I love .. It’s not a permanent thing I know .. But it’s a great way to express .. Like I always say, I’m doing it to express not to impress .. I don’t wanna expect too much of it though, cause expectations lead to disappointment. Just keep doing what you love and if you’re really into it, all the hard work will eventually pay off ~ Impaktita“

"I Rap to Express, Not to Impress ~ Impaktita"

PUSONG PINOY

Please Visit www.reverbnation.com/Pinoy Wit Attitude for ''Pusong Pinoy'' (SOUNDTRACK) By Pinoy Wit Attitude

A group of family and friends wanting to make a difference, one book at a time. Since its inception in 2009, Pusong Pinoy became a force of over 30,000 HEROES worldwide via Facebook trying to make a difference - one book, one meal, one piece of clothing at a time. Our mission is to provide assistance to organizations in the Philippines that have effective programs designed to help marginalized kids learn and appreciate reading by donating used books to their cause. It is our hope that this site would inspire others to open their hearts and help make a difference in these children's lives. Today, we begin by collecting books and donating food items but perhaps someday we can do more. Let this be our means to pay it forward and give back to our country we love so dearly. "Pagtanaw sa pinanggalingan upang makatulong sa kinabukasan" - yan ang Pusong Pinoy
